VETERANS & ELIGIBLE BENEFICIARIES

Using VA education benefits?

  1. Review your eligibility and apply through VA, if needed.
  2. Contact admissions with your preferred class and benefit chapter. Ask how to provide your Certificate of Eligibility (COE) securely.
  3. Confirm that the selected program, location and attendance format qualify, and review what your benefits cover before making payment or travel arrangements.

Coverage depends on your benefit chapter, eligibility, remaining entitlement and approved enrollment. Admissions can help coordinate the school portion; VA determines your benefits.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Ask about available payment methods.

Review the payment choices offered for your selected class. If Affirm is available for your purchase, financing is subject to eligibility and the purchase; a down payment may be required and terms can vary.

Confirm the total cost, repayment terms and any remaining balance before choosing financing. Contact admissions if you need help understanding the school's payment schedule.

BEFORE YOU COMMIT

Good questions.
Clear next steps.

Can't find the answer you need? Call, text or email us. You can ask questions before creating an account or starting enrollment.

Do I need aviation experience?

You do not need to be a pilot or have airline experience to explore this course. Expect to learn aviation terminology, weather, flight planning and regulations, and make time to study. Admissions can help assess the published prerequisites for your selected class.

How old do I need to be?

FAA rules distinguish examination eligibility from certificate issuance: you must be at least 21 to be eligible for the aircraft dispatcher knowledge test and at least 23 to be eligible for an aircraft dispatcher certificate. Other requirements also apply. Contact admissions before enrolling if your age may affect the timing of training or examinations.

Read FAA eligibility requirements
How long is the course, and can I work while attending?

Total instructional hours, calendar length, daily hours and attendance format depend on the selected class. Compare its published schedule with your work commitments, allow time for study, and discuss any scheduling concerns with admissions before enrolling.

Check published class schedules
Is certification training self-paced?

The certification course follows its published instructional schedule and attendance requirements. If a class includes remote instruction, follow that class's live attendance and in-person requirements. Separate online or video learning products should not be assumed to replace the approved certification course.

Are exam fees included in tuition?

Examinations are separately payable unless explicitly included by your program. See the dated exam charges above: ADX is paid at the testing center, and the oral and practical examination is paid to the FAA designated examiner. Retest costs require confirmation.

Can I use veterans' benefits or financing?

Ask admissions to confirm the options for your selected program and attendance format. VA coverage depends on your eligibility and approved enrollment. Affirm, when offered for your purchase, is subject to eligibility and its available terms.

Review funding next steps
What happens after I complete training?

You must complete the required examinations and meet FAA issuance requirements to receive a dispatcher certificate. Course completion alone does not issue the certificate. Explore airline roles, prepare your application and continue developing your skills; employment decisions are made by each employer.

Can I ask about future dates without enrolling?

Yes. Email your preferred timeframe and any schedule questions. We can discuss published options and help you plan your next step.
